Amelia is a lifelong performer, competitive dancer, and athlete. She trained extensively in "game day" style, dancing for competitive high school, college, and semi-professional teams for 15 years. She went on to dance professionally with the Chicago Bulls as a Chicago Luvabull for four seasons and now dances commercially for TV and film. Amelia is also running her dance, fitness, and choreography business she launched in 2018. She is a master of all things dance team, specializes in barre and cardio, and loves creating memorable and accessible choreography for events and weddings. She leads with an infectious positive attitude and will make a positive difference in your life.
Amy Morris - @amyruneatplayrepeat
Amy attended DePaul University and graduated with a double major in Accounting and Finance. During junior year a close friend convinced Amy to join her in the Race To The Taste 5K. With little running experience, but a serious love for food and always up for a challenge, Amy naturally accepted and her love for running was born! Thousands of miles later, 30+ Spartan/ OCR/trail races, competing in the 2017 OCRWC in Canada, 2 Ultra Ragnar’s, countless half marathons and currently training for her 13th & 14th full marathons, Amy still can’t get enough and is currently working towards her goal of running in all 50 states. Amy is also a RRCA Certified Running Coach and loves helping runners find their legs!
After 8 years in corporate finance and accounting, Amy tossed her calculator out the window and decided to follow her heart and became a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. Amy believes fitness and exercise is for everyone. Leading by example, Amy tries to continually challenge herself and those around her to find their fitness passion by adding variety, education, grit and a touch of laughter to each session.

Angie Pote - @yogabyangie
Angie is a yoga instructor and Reiki II practitioner. Angie first discovered yoga as a means to treat PTSD as well as a method to de-stress from the corporate daily work life. Angie started her journey through aerial yoga (suspension/hammocks) and from there ventured into vinyasa, hot and hatha yoga back in 2017. Within a few months of practicing yoga, Angie found a sense of community as well as ways to de-stress and relieve anxiety from the practice. Angie's style of teaching is on a more vinyasa/hatha/yin mix, often just considered a slow intentional flow. If you are looking for compassion-centered teaching, look no further, Angie encourages the growth of both the physical and spiritual self.

Ann-Marie Gover - @annmariego
Ann-Marie is a movement artist and fitness instructor based in Chicago. She is a graduate of University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating, Ann-Marie began an apprenticeship with Shen Wei Dance Arts while also teaching across the US with physical theater company, JUNK. She has taught Pilates for the last 6 years including at Equinox Sports Club and Dynamic Body Pilates in Manhattan, and at 2nd Story in Jackson Heights. She enjoys working with clients of all levels. She brings her extensive dance background and work as a Reiki practitioner to her classes, tailoring her approach to each client to best suit their fitness goals. Aya Muramatsu - @ayammuramatsu
Aya Muramatsu is a former dancer and has been working in the fitness field since 2014. Raised outside of Boston, she has also spent time working in fashion and living in New York and Los Angeles. Aya has called Chicago home since 2015.
Aya has been teaching at SoulCycle since 2014 where she is a Master Instructor and founding Chicago instructor. She has taught in various cities around the country and loves connecting with the community everywhere she goes.
Aya also holds a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification with the Yoga Alliance. She has been a practitioner of yoga for over 12 years and is delighted to be able to lead yoga classes in-person and virtually. In her class, you can expect to feel stretched, strong, and connected while you listen to a great curated playlist.
In addition to sharing her love for community, music, and movement, Aya is also passionate about body image and mental health. As a professional dancer turned fitness professional, I am dedicated to helping my clients find their mind body connection. I have been in the fitness industry for over 13 years, working for several different health clubs with a wide demographic of people. Some of my certifications include ACE CPT, AFAA Group Ex, Healthy Moms, TRX, ViPR, Schwinn Cycling and Aerial Yoga. Over the years I have taught a variety of formats including Strength, HIIT, Core, Kickboxing, Cycling, Barre, Step and Dance. Professional photographer by trade, Christina brings her creativity and sensitivity to her yoga practice and teaching, beginning her live classes by checking in with student needs then leading a spontaneous blend of movement and breathwork to support them. Trauma-informed and practicing for more than two decades, Christina loves sharing yoga with everyone from her 3rd graders at McDowell, to animal-lovers at the Anti-Cruelty Society, to Chicago Police Officers who meditate with Christina during their roll call. Her style is fluid and intuitive -- accessible to all levels. Yoga -- union -- is a lifestyle based on community and connection for Christina that includes her artwork, her veganism and her social justice activism.
Christy Pemrick - @pugglelovinyogini
Christy discovered yoga in 2015 when she was working in a high pressure environment conducting corporate hotel sales. She walked into her first class and that was all it took. She realized there was something magical to this thing called “yoga” and she craved more of it. Shortly thereafter, she completed her first training in San Diego in 2016 and is currently recognized as 200 ERYT with the national Yoga Alliance.
She teaches all yoga formats but has a special place in her heart for Vinyasa; something about the breath to movement with the body synchronization. She teaches one on one as well as group classes with a focus on connecting to all her students on a human level. She teaches with inclusivity and authenticity providing classes that are accessible yet challenging. Erika Samaniego - @erikamaefitness
Erika’s passion for health and fitness started as an NBA dancer. While dancing for the Chicago Luvabulls, she learned how important it was to tone and maintain strength and endurance for long rehearsals and high-energy games. She learned about muscle awareness and how to dance and work-out safely and effectively. After dancing with the Luvabulls for 10 years, she started teaching fitness classes, while coaching a high school dance team.
Erika is currently a dance teacher and teaches group fitness classes at Midtown Athletic Club (Chicago). She recently started teaching for Little Lion, an online interactive platform that provides services in wellness, inclusion, and leadership building. Erika will be your biggest cheerleader in motivating you to keep finding your truest potential. Erin Schirack - @erinschirack
Erin is recognized as one of Chicago's top fitness instructors. Erin trained with some of the top instructors in Chicago and Michigan, and her extensive knowledge of Classical Pilates Method, modern Pilates, movement concepts and principles and anatomy has been very rewarding to her and to her clients. As former lead instructor and Director of Cycle, Erin’s classes were sought out for her high energy and expertly curated playlists. Erin passes along her expertise, enthusiasm, and love of movement in a challenging and exciting workout that incorporates precise technique, movement concepts, and mind-body integration for guaranteed maximum results.

Erin discovered her love for lifting at an old school bodybuilding gym in college. Shattering self-doubt in her training, taught Erin to apply the same methodology in everyday life. In 2017, she became a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and launched her personal training business Sustaining Strong.
Since then, Erin honed her expertise in strength training to kettlebell, barbell and bodyweight training. Her certifications include StrongFirst Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor (SFG I), StrongFirst Level 2 Kettlebell Instructor (SFG 2), StrongFirst Barbell Instructor (SFL) and Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC). She trains her clients out of the Academy of the Strength in Wicker Park.

Heather McCarthy is a Lululemon Ambassador and personal and group trainer and has been teaching group fitness for 6 years. Heather found fitness while working on her Doctorate in Psychology and using running as a stress reliever. She decided to shelf her degree in order to become a mom, and she started running more and decided to pursue a career in fitness. Currently, Heather teaches at Shred415 and also does private and personal training. Heather is an Ace certified trainer, certified nutritional coach, pre and post natal certified trainer and certified in the LAGREE method. While running is still her first love, she found strength training has allowed her stay fast and less injury prone through the years. Jordan is a 200 E-RYT Yoga Teacher located in Chicago, IL. Born and bred in Buffalo Grove, she moved out to New York City for 5 years, only to return home to Chicago in 2017. While here in Chicago, Jordan completed 200 Hour Yoga and Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training with Corepower Yoga, and the Equinox Cycling Mentorship Program. She is also a NASM Behavior Change Specialist and is now completing a Barre certification with Barre Eclipse and a Yoga Nidra certification via Soul n Steady. Jordan aims to inspire women & men alike to find their inner light and let it shine. She shares her own version of wellness through mindful movement, mantras, and personal affirmations and stories. Kailee Martin
Puma trainer, DJ, and creative coordinator, Kailee strives to bring a fun and entertaining experience through energy and movement in her weekly classes and pop ups. With 8+ years of group fitness coaching and a 20year background in performance, music, and professional dance, blending both music and movement together was the driving force behind motivating Kailee to jump into fitness. She sees fitness as more than just performance based goals and a way to improve both mental and physical health. You can catch Kailee weekly at Crosstown Fitness, or throughout the city leading pop ups and hosting events. Kate is a Chicago-based Meditation instructor, specializing in mindful healing for the whole person. After teaching for many years in traditional yoga studios throughout the Chicagoland area, Kate felt called to serve the communities that have impacted her life in a profound way. She now practices Trauma-Informed Care and specializes in the areas of Women’s Wellness, Recovery, Anxiety, and Healing.
Kate studied mindfulness at Chicago State University and received her certification in Trauma-Informed Care from the Institute of Trauma at the University of Buffalo. Kelly Maher is a certified life coach, acupuncturist + herbalist and meditation guide. She is the owner of Kelly Maher Acupuncture + Wellness and throughout her 10 year tenure has treated thousands of patients with both needling and coaching sessions. Watching her own life benefit from utilizing a meditation practice has made her extremely passionate about helping people discover their own inner connection and happiness. Lauren is a long-time student of yoga, beginning her practice at the age of 15 in Chicago, IL where she currently lives and teaches. Her class formats are Power Flow, CORE Please, HIIT Yoga, Movement + Recover and Yoga Stretch with therapy balls, Slow Flow and Deep Stretch.
When Lauren completed her 200-hour teacher training it was truly an eye-opening and life-changing experience. She discovered her life’s passion – teaching yoga. Lauren also has training in Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy and continues to learn how yoga can be used to treat anxiety, depression and PTSD. She is currently in the process of completing her 500 YTT with Yoga Medicine.

Lindsey’s love for movement and fitness has taken different shapes over time. Morgan Leavitt, LMT, is a Clinical Massage Therapist licensed by the state of Illinois and board certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Her clinical massage treatments include Neuromuscular Therapy, fascial techniques, massage cupping, Craniosacral Therapy, and corrective breathwork, with a focus on acute and chronic pain management.

Sara is a gentle warrior fighting to increase the life power of all those who cross her path. Her journey as a yogi began in 2004 to supplement her experience as a life-long runner and athlete. She fell in love with the potential for yoga to enrich lives, heal darkness and brighten days. Sara dove into her 200 hour teacher training in 2012 through Yoga Now, gained her prenatal certification in 2018, and completed her 300 hour Cyogalife training in 2020. For the better part of a decade, she has been teaching yoga in group classes as well as personalized one-on-one yoga and meditation experiences. Her classes focus on the breath, mindfulness and a very healthy dose of sweat. Plan on leaving in peaceful exhaustion. She encourages playfulness and enjoyment of the present moment!

Steph Rountree is a Chicago-based fitness coach with over 7 years of experience leading group workouts and working one-on-one with clients. It was her love for sports and the opportunity to play on two Division I sports teams in college that catapulted her into the fitness world. Steph has been a part of the Nike Chicago Training team since 2016, and co-owner of a gym, Bolt Fitness in Ravenswood.

With 13+ years of experience as a Nutritionist, Taylor's holistic approach helps women struggling with burnout, adrenal fatigue and hypothyroidism rebalance their hormones to increase energy, lose weight and get ahold of sugar cravings once and for all. After working in health clubs, integrative doctor's offices and restaurants, plus helping to open a successful wellness center in Hinsdale, IL, she now owns her own company, Taylored Health. Her philosophy is: healthy should NOT be boring or restrictive and doesn't look the same for every person. Her one-on-one 'taylored' approach helps put the FUN back into wellness, making new habits easy, approachable and (most importantly) sustainable. Small steps, BIG results!
Trista Greco - @tristagreco
Trista Greco is a local Chicago NIKE Trainer that has been teaching group classes at top studios and personal training across the city for the last 10 years. Trista grew up as a dancer and earned her degree in Choreography from Columbia College Chicago. Shortly after graduating, she received her NASM Personal Training certification as a way to supplement a dancer’s income, but eventually her love of training and running superseded her passion for dance. Following a hip and shoulder injury, she traded her ballet shoes for Nikes and the rest is history!
Most recently, after having her first baby she earned a certificate in Postnatal Corrective Exercise and is passionate about helping new moms stay fit through pregnancy and recover faster in the postpartum period. Additionally, she holds certifications in weight management, Precision Nutrition, and is working towards a functional strength certification. When Trista isn't running around with her daughter or out for a run herself, you can find her teaching group classes at Equinox or working with private clients in person or online. She is super excited to join some of Chicago's best with Chi Society and can't wait to connect with you virtually!
